Every semester, Mille Fontaines gathers new teams of students to edit, design, and run the literary and fine arts journal. Descriptions of each team are below, feel free to contact current staff if you are interested in joining a team.
Editing
The Editorial Team is tasked with blind-reading all submissions and deciding which ones to include in each edition of Mille Fontaines. They will also provide feedback on the selected submissions, suggesting edits to be conveyed to the authors.
Design
The Design Team takes point on the printed version of Mille Fontaines, making choices about themes, layout, color schemes, cover art, and fonts. They will provide input as to the order of submissions in the printed journal and may be asked to contribute their own designs as themes for the current edition.
Website
The Website Team is in charge of website maintenance and updates. This includes adding new editions of Mille Fontaines to the website and updating staff and submissions pages.
Event
The Event Team plans and executes the end-of-semester release party for Mille Fontaines. They coordinate catering, decorations, and presentations by contributors, as well as run the event. Jobs include: welcoming guests, overseeing technology, serving food and drinks, emceeing, and troubleshooting.
